zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz No cant fall asleep yet.
This week as been so tiring. Saturday night i was awake until 6am as i was filling out 4 application forms which had to be in by monday, so wanted to get them in the post. I didnt get them until Friday and the train home from JTs was too shaky to do them then. I was at work Saturday day and then out in the evening watching Shrek 2. I would have cancelled it, but as it was a preview showing i wouldnt have got the money back on my tickets.( by the way, its an excellent film, I loved it). Monday night i was working the late shift. It was inventory on Tuesday night and we are short on staff etc, so i was meant to work my normal 2.30-10.30 and then carry on till about 2am to do the inventory. I origionally only had 2 staff on it with me and so would take longer to complete. I then managed to change it so the other member of staff on with me while the shop was open came in at 2.30 so then i wouldnt have to get into work until 4pm. We then decided that if i still came in at 2.30, then the other staff member could come in at 4pm and we could get her to stay on for the inventory and we would then have 4 staff to do it. Hope your keeping up with this lol. The plan was that she wouldnt have to come into work the following day until 12 instead of 10 so we wernt using anymore hours. Anyway the shift was really manic and i was very happy to get back home at 2am. I couldnt sleep straight away so finally got to bed about 3.30am. This wasnt great as i had to be back at work 9am on Wednesday morning. The plan was for next Sunday that as we had one of the trainee managers in, that i could finish about 12ish to make up for the extra hours i had worked. I have to be in at 8am on Sunday morning as there is a different inventory planned which i am also in charge of. Its now turned out that the trainee manager is needed in another store, so i wont be able to finish until 2.30pm. It did mean however that Wednesday i was able to finish at 4 instead of 5. I took the oportunity to pop into town to get my moms birthday pressies. I got her a couple of blouses and trousers. I also managed to pick up a couple of bargains for myself. A pair of trousers reduced from £30 to £10 and two tops that were reduced to £5 and £7 so that was excellent. Wedneday night it was my friends birthday meal. We went to a really nice mediteranian restaurant and it was a lovely night.
Today and tomorrow are my days off so i have really loved not having to set my alarm and so i managed to catch up on loads of sleep. This afternoon i did my ironing ( mom helped with a couple of tops as i couldnt get the creases out of them, thanks mom :-D ) I then gave my room a really good sort out and managed to find loads of toiletries in the back of my wardrobe that id forgot id brought <blush> and i even sorted out some more things that im going to add to the stuff me and JT are going to sell at a car boot sale at some point.
JT arrived at 8pm ish and we have had a nice relaxing evening. Mom made a brilliant lasagne so we all ate that for tea. Tomorrow we are taking the dog to the park in the morning and in the evening we are off to Brum for the ship of fools meet. Saturday and Sunday ive got to work in the day, but JT isnt going home until Sunday night, so we get to spend all of Saturday evening together and also Sunday once he has picked me up from work at 2.30. We will then have a couple of hours together before going to church which will be ace as i havnt been for a few weeks.
Right i had better head off to bed. I think that as got to be the most confusing blog entry i have wrote so far lol
