Well this is the first time ive really had chance to post on here for a couple of weeks. Ive now been in Sheffield for 16 days and im loving it. Its very bizarre having to get used to a new job, home, area all at once but i dont regret it one little bit.
My new job is as an administrator for a engineering firm. They are lovely and have made me feel very much part of the team. Although they do take the mic out of my accent and keep calling me a BRUMMIE. In mock offence and explain for the millionth time that im from the BLACK COUNTRY, which of course is very different. lol.
Its been a manic couple of weeks as we have had a week sorting out all my stuff and getting things organised. Plus we had to travel back to my parents for my dads 57th birthday. In the same weekend we also had to travel up to York to celebrate JTs moms 50th birthday and JT had decided we were doing the catering. Bless him :P
Last friday some of JTs friends cooked us a meal to celebrate me arriving in Sheffield. It was so sweet of them and a lovely evening. My new housemates were there also, so that was great as they are lovely.
Saturday was going to be the first time me and JT would have a day of complete slobbing and were looking forward to it loads.
He picked me up about 1pm and had to wait around while i finished getting ready. Id been up since 10 and had tidied up the house a bit and relaxed over a huge mug of coffee.
Before we headed back to JTs he suggested we go for a quick drive to have a look at some of the wonderful views near his house. There are so many to chose from as his house is a 5 min drive into the peaks. After about 15mins of looking at the most amazing views i was getting a bit cold, but was getting lots of hugs so that was ok :D. I turned round to JT and said " I love you"

he said " I love you to...... and will you marry me"

Without thinking i gave him the hugest of hugs, then JT asked if i actually wanted to wear the ring <blush>
I was so happy and wanted to hug him, i completly forgot to put the ring on and more importantly say yes. lol.
When we got back to JTs he had some champaine on ice and then it was the mad rush to ring and text everyone. That evening he cooked me a wonderful candlelit meal.
I am so completely happy and rather gushy at the moment. The wedding is going to be June 2005, so just over 8 months to get everything organised.
