I cant believe its been that long since i posted on here.
Im really loving living up in Sheffield. I get to see JT loads and im really enjoying not working shifts anymore.
My new job is hard but really good. It gets a bit scary as ive gone from knowing my job inside out to getting a new one and realising i no diddly squat.
Well ive been engaged also now for about a month and so far planning is going well. We dont want to scrimp and save for our wedding, but i refuse to spend over the odds for stuff just because it is for a wedding. We would rather have more friends there than spend a fortune on daft stuff which is done just for the sake of it.
One of the things that i was panicing about is choosing my wedding dress. Im not small so although there are lots of lovely styles about i wanted to make sure i could find something that suited my shape. When my friend got married a few years back she got her dress from a shop that does end of line dresses at a cheeper price. They are brand new, from a repitable company and stunning dresses. They also do big sizes so your able to try on a dress in your actual size.
A few weeks ago i was trying to describe to my mom the kind of dress i would like and amazingly the 2nd dress i tried on was just like the picture id drawn and so i obviously fell in love with it. You buy that actual dress so i needed to buy it soonish as otherwise it may have sold. So my dad came up to Sheffield and he brought it. I also got the tiara as i wanted the stones in the dress to match it.
We have also booked the wedding date and also the reception. That has been a major stress as everywhere was booked up. We did however manage to find the perfect place through a friend of JTs so our reception will be held the wonderful and gorgeous Chatsworth est ( see i am a posh bird ;-D )
Anyway i had better head off home.
