doors

i don't get it. why do humans have to put a huge impenatrable sheet of wood in their entranceways? it only makes more trouble for them, as they have to open and close it all the time. . . especially for me! i mean it would be unreasonable to suggest that i go in and out when they want me to. what about my right to personal choice?

get this! yesterday morning, female housemate (she calls herself, "my owner", but we know better, don't we?) let me out, and then proceeded to keep the door back into the house shut for a whole hour and a half! i got bored! there's only so much to do in a brynmill garden, as nice as it is, and there's only so many places i'm allowed to go. it seems that most gardens already have their own cats, and strict "no tresspassing" smells around the borders.

but at least she left the door open in the afternoon. it was much better being able to wander in and out (and in and out, and in and out) at my own will. my scaredy cat sister was even ferocious enough to venture outside for once, when the female housemate wasn't looking.
