Never again will I take for granted that simple movement of getting out of bed. As soon as this bad back goes away I shall take a great deal of pleasure in everything - yes, even hoovering and ironing and picking stuff off the floor!
2012 finished with me groaning and moaning and not being able to sit comfortably to eat a meal, or walk with the doglet - one of my favourite pastimes in this lovely region, and it looks like 2013 is starting the same way. Actually I think it may be a tad better - showing a small sign of improvement but I daren't say that - the curse of the commentator etc
I can't help thinking of people who are in constant pain and bear it with fortitude... I have a couple of days of lower back pain and wallow in self pity. Hmmmph.
But on Saturday, before all the moans, the doglet and I walked with a friend on the shores of the Lac de Villerest and that was just lovely!
