Back at the cottage after 5 weeks in the warmth of Spain's winter sun - back to the laptop and the back bedroom - somehow me, the ipad and this wibsite didn't work very well together whilst on holiday, but we're back now so watch this space! What a proliferation of 'backs'..
Eeeh but it were grand! The warmth of the sun and the dryness of the air certainly did our old bones and joints a power of good.
So what on earth am I going to write about in 2013? Can't think - why is that? Oh I do so long to be creative! It'll have to be a holiday photo while I am thinking - but then I am reminded that there's nowt so boring as other people's holiday snaps - except maybe the retelling of other people's dreams.

We have had a frenzy of bird activity since we returned - here's one of 4 hawfinches! And we have had flurries of siskins this year for the first time.
The sun is coming out, the snow is finally melting, Himself is downstairs making soup, I have been chatting to one of my daughters on FB and I am reminded that it is indeed a wonderful world.
