No sooner had I made my new experiments area with a little bit of image replacement trickery than the whole thing started up again as I found several new articles about it. And whether or not they use the word "definitive" or not it seems there isn't anything definitive about any of these.
This is turning into one of those areas of web design that is akin to eating a Cadbury's Creme Egg - everybody does it differently, and everybody thinks their way is the right way.
