Come on, this is becoming a dangerous obsession, but I quite like the thought of buying my clothes secondhand. This is partly because I am a cheapskate and partly because I can get stuff that I would never bother buying firsthand (Jigsaw? Far too expensive for me). And why do people sell stuff they have worn once for £2.50? And it's good to think that the clothes are being reused and I'm not giving lots more money to shops that are already making millions.
But I LOVE my new shoes especially. They are pink mules from Camper and they have a little daisy on one of them and petals on the other. One says "he loves me" and the other says "he loves me not" and they are in the most beautiful soft leather. Oh, I am so shallow, but I love shoes.
But maybe ebay is bad? Maybe I should be buying from charity shops? I still give clothes I finish with to charity shops and not sell them, but it is hard to find the time to go round them myself. Trying to be ethical is fraught with difficulties.
But still...new shoes.... hurrah!
