And in the interim
I have a) got my WISE parcel which is lovely and will post pics just as soon as I have time to administer my wiblog at home
b) spent an inordinate amount of time worrying about my father-in-law who has been in intensive care in central france (he's out now, thankfully, but it was all a bit stressful
c) been to a lovely wedding in Ireland
d) moved offices so that my whole satellite department that has been in a cosy little office for years is now in the middle of the whole newspaper. My (current) boss has also resigned.
It's been a bit of a rollercoaster. The new office is quite fun, but I feel a little like a primary school kid who has just gone up to secondary. everyone else is a bit grown up and scary and they look at us funny. And you have to buy tea in a cup WITH A LID. there is a notice about "continual spillages on the carpet". The fashion department are particularly scary and well turned out.
Still, at least the sun is shining
