I was wearing a wedding dress (and not just because i was dressing up for a laugh either). I can't quite believe we've been married three years - but in a good way - it feels like yesterday... sometimes I still look down at my wedding ring and think "how grown up"! The word "wife" still sounds a bit surreal too, but I do love being married- we're very fortunate. I've known Mr Fishsoup since I was 15 and he was 16, so this whole marriage thing still feels a little bit like playing. I'm sure we'll have to grow up one day.
It's nice to be preparing for a wedding at the moment - two of our dearest friends are getting married and we are bridesmaid (matron of honour? Yuk?) and usher respectively. We've also been asked to make a brief speech at the reception - which means I will have to preserve a vague sobriety otherwise i will just say "You're all lovely lovely they are lovely love you all" which is pretty much what I said on our own wedding day. Still, my shoes are very high so i had better stay able to walk anyway.
