I saw a very scary-looking teenager - but he was buried so deeply in a book that he nearly bumped into me! I love seeing people enjoying reading.
I saw ten people walking their dogs together in the park - and the dogs seemed to be enjoying meeting each other as much as the people were.
I saw two old ladies (one black, one white) recognise each other in the street, and run to kiss each other with absolute delight.
I am glad I don't live in Canary Wharf, where things like that don't happen.
