January Blues

I'm a bit fed up today, which I think partly stems from the row I had with our freeholder this morning. We're trying to buy the freehold from him, and since the change of the leasehold/freehold laws, he is obligated to sell it to us. But he refuses which means we will have to take him to court and it will cost us a fortune. I've just signed a statement of claim. But it's depressing, cos it takes half the fun out of owning the flat in the first place, and he was nasty to me this morning. And I'm not sure why... he only gets £70 a year out of the freehold in the first place and we'd pay him the going rate.
Then there's my phone, which has broken and lost all my numbers. Carphone Warehouse has taken it back to be repaired, but now I can't phone anyone.
Then there's the skiing holiday I am supposed to be organising, which feels more like a chore than an opportunity to have fun, and the telling off I got from Mr Fishsoup last night about a situation (and he's right, by the way), which I could be handling so much better.
And the job, today, is not particularly riveting, and it's dark, and cold, and rainy, and Mr Fishsoup has meetings all week, and I have Friday off on my own and I'm working Sunday. I don't like January much. Wah!

Sorry, enough moaning. Normal service resumes soon, I promise.
