But i've just written 600 words so that can't be true. I'm praying for all those caught up in these horrific events this morning, one of which took place about three minutes walk from our office. I've spent the last hour wandering round the Square Mile with a photographer and a press card, but this hasn't made me feel any less numb.
Lord, comfort those who mourn. Strengthen those who are frightened. Stay the hatred of those whose fear will quickly turn to thoughts of revenge. Heal your nation.
