Most useful Christian book (other than the bible of course)

I've been reading Tom Wright's Surprised by Hope this week, both for an essay and as preparation for my Easter Day sermon.

It is really good, dealing with all sorts of things about what we actually hope for and what the bible says about life after death, resurrection, etc. Having been to lots of wishy-washy churches that never really addressed these matters, it is filling a large hole in my education as well as making me more confident about what to say when people ask about Christian attitudes to death. Marvellous.

In other news, I have been watching the first series of Gavin and Stacey this week. Hurrah! A sitcom with real humour in it. I'd be interested to hear how those of you in South Wales (or indeed Essex) feel about it. The stereotypes seem rather extreme.
