It never really came to anything in the end. I recall commenting at one point yesterday evening that it was 'a bit windy', but nothing really to write home about.
Work is proceeding slowly but surely on the next essay. I've read nearly 200 pages of (sadly mostly irrelevant) biography today and found most of the books and websites I need for the rest of it. I am not going to fight the urge to have an afternoon nap since I will be busy until 9pm with, among other things, a read-through of the Book of Job in preparation for a course next week.
In other news, I was delighted to find that the season 7 West Wing DVD that our player resolutely refused to play worked a treat on my laptop. Just in case it was a one-off, I watched all four episodes in a row yesterday evening. Marvellous!
