2000 words a week on average over the past month doesn't sound like a great deal, but it feels like a lot from where I am sitting. Sometimes I ponder the possibility of writing books and papers as part of my vocation. If I ever threaten to do that, kindly remind me how strenuous I find it.
Next week I am off to the parents for a week of doing nothing and then resting. It has just sunk in that I am also preaching on Easter Sunday, which is before then. Less blogging, more working methinks.
Like Tractorgirl, I've been watching The Passion on BBC1. The thing that has struck me most is how difficult a person Jesus must have been to be around. Cryptic, enigmatic and utterly focussed on what needs to be done. On a lighter note, I really don't like beards. However unlikely this may be culturally speaking, the Jesus in my head is clean shaven.
