The little one is asleep in the sling after a very wakeful night and the excitement of meeting his grandparents and aunt, uncle and cousin. We (well mostly me since he is asleep) are listening to one of his presents: a CD of lullabies from around the world. The current track is from Cuba. He may well end up being a bit of a hippy if this goes on.
This week we are going to take him for his first ride on a steam train - an important rite of passage for any young man. Apparently, I was only about 3 weeks old when I went for my first train ride so it is a bit of a family tradition.
If you were expecting a non-baby-related post, I must apologise. I will try and do something blogworthy in the next few weeks.
