Apologies for the silence in the last few days. Apparently there was a power shortage at our local cable exchange which meant that they prioritised tv signal above broadband. I was very cross about this. I hope it is fixed now, but I won't know until tomorrow when we return from imposing ourselves on my parents.
Today we took the little one* for his first steam train ride. An important milestone in any young life. It was important that it was the correct steam train: in this case, the one where I met Mr F many years ago. A good time was had by all, although the gentle rocking motion of the train meant that the little one slept through the majority of the experience, waking only when we stopped at stations.
*Still deciding on an internet psuedonym. Believe me, we took this long to decide on his real names too.
