Home, but not entirely alone

This blog post has been brought to you with the help of Dasher, a text entry programme that I may have mentioned before.

Today is my first day home alone with the baby, Mr. F having gone back to work. We seem to have survived, remembered to eat, drink, nap and get a few jobs done. The living room is COVERED with clothes that I am sorting by age. I find it hard to imagine that the baby will ever be big enough to fit into them but, looking at the other babies I know, it will doubtless happen sooner than I expect.

Tomorrow is results day. I am still waiting for enough essay marks that the class of degree is not certain. I will either be very, very pleased or just content that I have done no worse than my previous degree. Here's hoping for the former! At least I have a reasonable excuse if I don't get the higher result: I don't recommend writing essays while 38 weeks pregnant.
