I was rather alarmed to be told in Church this morning that there are only 15 days until Christmas. Much panic ensued until it transpired that I only really have 2 people to buy presents for still. Not sure when that will happen, but I will think of something. I would like to thank Mr Farli and my sister for sterling efforts in organising me in this regard.
Perhaps I will take a leaf out of Dave's book (metaphorically speaking, or maybe even buy more copies of his actual book).
I am getting very excited about the adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Hogfather which starts next Sunday on Sky 1, particularly since, by some fluke, we actually have Sky 1! We have recorded the making-of programme this evening so we can watch it afterwards. Seriously, why show it beforehand? I will be watching out for the shots of the Shambles in York and a friend of mine peering through the windows of one of the cafes while the filming went on.
The Snooker UK Championships have started being shown this weekend - that is the last I will see of Mr Farli this week. Just watching John Higgins absolutely thrashing Stephen/Steven* Lee.
That is all for now.
Good night and sleep well.
* I have forgotten the spelling.
