Over Christmas I decided to be creative and started two projects - one crochet and one woodwork. Unsurprisingly, neither are finished, but I have been doing some varnishing* this evening: coat 2 goes on at 8.30pm. This is quite exciting because it is the first thing I have made out of wood since the clock I made in 1994. Photos will follow when it is finished.
Ingredients:
A plank of wood
A saw
A file
Sandpaper
Varnish and brushes
Right angle brackets and wood screws
Anyone want to venture a guess as to what it might be?
Anyway, I am spending a happy evening catching up with email, doing more openoffice stuff and just pottering about. I love the beginning of term.
* Of the woodwork, not the crochet.
