The sermon went well, according to those who commented afterwards. Most seem to follow yay's theory of sermon critique: "I will forgive most things in a sermon if it's concise", with one person saying, "Yes, I liked it, it was short". I think he hadn't quite meant it to come out that way and looked a little embarrassed afterwards, but it cheered me up.
I am relaxing for a couple of days at my parents' house and recovering from the weekend, before college stuff starts again. It is nice to be spoilt, and receive some cat therapy.
This afternoon I am meeting up with an old friend to catch up. I imagine that one or both of her children will have doubled in size since I last saw them.
