Marmalised or perhaps marmalized.
Quote from my tutor - "I really marmalised my hand when I last played volleyball".
Eh what? Not often I hear a new word.
Apparently it means all mashed up and damaged. I hypothesized that it comes from thinking about the difference between an orange before and after it is made into marmalade. What do you reckon?
