I am a creature of habit, although I do not wear a habit because I am not a monk.

Unless I consciously think about it, I will walk the same route every time I go somewhere, even crossing roads at the same point. There is a row of seats in the main lecture room which is the one I tend to sit on, unless I am wanting to do something other than listen to the lecture when you will find me at the back. I love it when things run on time and hate it when things overrun or when people are not punctual. I eat apples the same way everytime, but don't eat oranges in public because I get comments on my method.

I am happy to be flexible when it suits me, but if other people force me to change plans then I get cranky and cynical.

Today I am cranky and cynical. I recommend that you do not annoy me. I may not be answerable for the consequences.*

On an unrelated note, I will be spending this weekend reflecting on the year with the hope of writing several thousand words for a learning journal. This is, of course, something I have been working on all year and have not left to the last weeks of the year to start. ahem... I might post some extracts or bits that don't make it.
