I like being older.
Today I was reminded of that because I no longer completely suck at playing rounders.
In the 12 years or so since I played, I have developed some spatial awareness so I can catch (usually) and I would have taken a supremely impressive running catch if I hadn't been avoiding a small child who was also trying to catch.
Even bigger news: I HIT THE BALL!
If you had told me 5 years ago that I would be voluntarily playing sport and enjoying it, I would have laughed in your face.
The Chalet School re-read has got to Jo to the Rescue for those of you who are interested in such things.
