What have the Romans ever done for us?

Made me spend the whole of this glorious sunny day locked away in a room full of books writing about Christian attitudes to the State, that is what the Romans have done for me.

Or at least, they have indirectly. If they hadn't existed, Paul would not have written to them and then the letter to the Romans would not have made it into the final draft of the Bible and then generations of theologians would not have spent ages writing very long books about it. Subsequently, there would not have been a lecture course on the Romans and if that hadn't happened, I wouldn't have gone to it and had to write an essay about it.

However, despite the sunny day I am missing, I have really enjoyed studying and should hopefully get a half-decent essay out of it when I stop blogging and get back to typing.

If it wasn't Romans, it would probably be Corinthians, so I shouldn't blame them too much.

Thank you for kitten advice. I will go in search of a vet etc after deadline day.
