It is difficult to write sermons and children's talks when the kittens want to chase the pencil I am writing with. We did manage to Read, Mark, Learn and Inwardly Digest some of the bible though: I read the Gospel of Mark and learned something. Persephone chewed the pages and inwardly digested them. Ah well.
Is it bad that a future vicarage cat likes to chew the bible?
Anyway, placement is going well. I had an interesting day yesterday without the car: it must be very difficult to live in the parish without transport because everything is so far apart. I was feeling somewhat footsore by the end of the day. Today I am going on some industrial espionage to look at the facilities in neighbouring churches.
