Jack - Do not be concerned about the possibility of teabags running out. For one thing, I don't drink much tea at the moment and for another, they are provided by college.

Chelley - Other people reading placement essays??? What a horrible thought. I know we are up for some discussions of critical incidents from our placements, but I don't think anyone except our tutors see the essays.

Chelley again - It may well have a Twin Peaks feel about it, but I have never seen Twin Peaks, so the significance escapes me.

Jack again - Since when has 'to Facebook' been a verb? Looking at my entry, since about 4.18pm on the 11th of September if no-one wants to claim an earlier occurrence. I take the Lewis Carroll approach to word definitions:
'When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in a rather scornful tone,' it means just what I choose it to mean, neither more nor less.'

After a week spent mainly smiling at people and making hundreds* of cups of tea and coffee I am completely shattered and wanting some more time off before lectures. Sadly, lectures start tomorrow so I will just have to cope.

Major achievement of this weekend has been successfully turning the heel on my sock. Having been warned about this in tones of doom, I was pleasantly surprised by how simple it was, even with the assistance of the kittens.

Kitten update - we introduced the concept of being dried off in a towel after coming in from the rainy garden. I am not their most popular person.

* No exaggeration here I promise you
