The kittens are getting more adventurous and have started hunting. Being a mean parent, I have fixed bells to their collars to warn the unsuspecting wildlife. This just means that they have to be more creative in finding things to capture.
Highlights in the past week have included:
Paper Sandwich bags (used, empty)
Tissue Paper
A worm
A snail
Leaves (wet)
A BIG Spider (mostly dead)
And my personal favourite: A congealed ball of fat, possibly intended as a bird feeder. I think they just cut out the middle man.
But they are delightful in many other ways, and have so far refrained from demonstrating the ancient art of entrails behind the sofa.
