Wet and windy weekends

I am sitting at the computer on a Saturday morning, the rain lashing against the windows and the cats orbiting all available indoor surfaces in protest at the miserable, wet garden outside.

The perfect weekend to stay in and write an essay, so that is what I will do.

Any prayers for increased concentration, disinclination to procrastinate, sudden inspiration or similar would not go amiss.

This evening looks like being a good reward - curry and Strictly.

Thanks for your contribution Steve, but I am still little clearer on what I wanted to blog about on Thursday, although I do recall that the cat under our bed was not one of our cats. Esme brought a friend home to play.
