Today is the start of the 40 Days of Purpose at our church. Apparently there are 600 churches around Aus doing the same program at the same time. It was a good service, the church was packed, people bringing in extra chairs at the back.
I think it promises to be a good program if everyone gets involved well at our cell group.
In other news: we went to my good-friend-and-work-colleague Cam's place for dinner last night. It was a little bit awkward a few times, this was the first time we met his new girlfriend (and her 5yo daughter). She seems great, they get along well and everything, but I successfully stuck my foot in it a couple of times, subsequently vowing never to drink wine again at Important Social Events With Close Friends In Awkward Situations. All in all Elicia and I both had a good night and it felt really good to see Cam again.
