We had a huge night praying last night, Elicia and I. We were both touched at church yesterday thinking about the stuff we've been worrying about and how it has not always been for the benefit of God or even others, but mostly ourselves. In praying, we felt God really has ordained us to go to Mt Hotham, as though it's not just a whim on our part but his plan. We'll be the chaplains of the mountain.
It does make a difference to how you feel about things. Suddenly it seems like there's no use getting stressed about all the organising and paperwork that still needs to be done, or the money that still needs to be spent. If God wants us there, we'll get there, and the money becomes an offering rather than a waste.
