We went around to our friends Trav and Karly's place last night for tea - which was very good - to talk with them about an idea we had of moving in with them. We can't afford to keep renting our current unit as well as pay off the one in Mt Hotham, but we are only planning to live on the mountain four months a year, so we need somewhere to come back to. To save the hassles of trying to find a new place to rent for only 8 months every time we come back, we thought it would be better to have somewhere cheaper that we could still have the whole year, then all our stuff can stay there even when we're not. Trav and Karly have always had a housemate, but their most recent moved out a couple of weeks ago and we thought Hey! This might be the opportunity we're looking for!
We discussed it at length last night, and we all agreed that it would probably be wierd at times and there is a chance that it won't work out, but that it has good possibilities and we should give it a go. So we're moving in with them! I'm going to give notice to our agent today, that gives us four weeks to move down there, then it will only be another week or two before we move to Mt Hotham anyway!
