I gave all our money in the world (and some of my parents' too) to our solicitor today, he's giving it to a man in Albury and then on Friday we own a unit in Mt Hotham!
In other news, Elicia's mum has been staying with us for a few days, her dog Baxter as well. Today when I got home from work Baxter bit me. Later I was attempting a difficult eating-tea-whilst-playing-scrabble manouvre and he began to hump a cushion on our couch. I will never be able to sit on it again.
Also, we've been packing some stuff into boxes for the Big Move, mostly books so far. It's so hard to decide which ones I can leave behind for a few months, which ones I can't live without, and which ones can go to the opshop. I was on the verge of getting rid of all my uni textbooks, but the thought of all that knowledge being destroyed made me box them instead, though the note written on the side says: "James' uni books: no need to open, ever."
