It's a great day today! I got the internet on - so now I can do some work (and update my wiblog, of course) - and we went snowboarding this morning and it was Heaps Of Fun!! We can't afford to get proper lessons yet, that'll have to wait until Elicia gets paid next week, but one of her friends just showed us a few basics and it ROCKS bigtime! And falling over (a lot!) doesn't even matter too much as the snow is soft, I did a couple of spectacular rolling falls and didn't hurt at all! I love snow.

On a side note, it snowed yesterday afternoon really nicely, it wasn't windy at all, and the snowflakes were really big. I always thought that snowflakes were basically spherical, like soft hail stones or something, but they're not - they are much more like flakes (duh) as in, they are the shape of cornflakes or something, flatish, and they float like very light feathers. Very Cool.

The drying cupboard can also be used for defrosting frozen apple pies.
