Time :: 8:30am
Temperature :: 0 deg C
Lifted skiable area at Mount Hotham :: 245ha
Conditions :: Clear but a fair wind. Not as good as the last couple of days.

Today is our no-ski day, we're both working this morning anyway and besides the conditions for today and tomorrow don't look as good as the last couple of days. Did I mention Elicia has had the flu? So even though she had the last two mornings off she missed out on the awesome snow. She's got the whole day off tomorrow and we made a pact to go out even if the weather is bad - but we're hoping it won't be!

We went to Swindlers for $12 steaks last night, it's a special that they have on every Friday that I think we might be frequenting from now on! We also watched Shakespeare in Love, it was different to what I was expecting but I liked it. It was sad though.

Handy Tip for Living at Mt Hotham #27
Tie your laces in double knots. That goes for your snowboarding boots as well as your normal walking boots. If you have to take off your gloves and kneel down in the snow to retie, your fingers very quickly lose feeling and the subtle manipulations required of a bow become quite a challenge.
