Time :: 9:00am
Temperature :: -1 deg C
Conditions :: Foggy, light breeze, some fresh snow overnight.

We went snowboarding yesterday morning, it was excellent to have a whole day off with Elicia and be able to do what we want. Elicia practised going down on her toes, executed a perfect turn and then to finish we went down the blue run* at Big D. We felt Very Proud of ourselves.

And I had the whole weekend off work. I didn't even turn the computer on yesterday. And when I did get online this morning, there wasn't even one single email waiting, important or otherwise - in fact the world seemed to handle itself quite well without me.

Have I mentioned that I uploaded a few photos of when the girls were here last weekend to our gallery?

Handy Tip for Living at Mt Hotham #28
If you're going to go snowboarding, or I presume skiing, especially while you are learning - it is very handy to be married to a masseuse.

*Blue runs are intermediate in difficulty; the order is: green triangle for beginners, blue squares intermediate, black diamond for experienced, and skull-and-crossbones for the ones that are so steep they go under.
