I've just been down to see off an old friend of Elicia's that stayed last night. Elicia used to be good friends with her when she lived in Lismore, northern NSW, and they haven't spoken for something like ten years. She heard that we were living at the snow and that was enough incentive to get in touch! She only stayed one night though, and left relatively early this morning so she didn't get to see a whole lot of the snow, mainly just the inside of a few pubs that Leash and her visited last night...

Also, I've got no pressing work to go on with today. A nice change, but also a tad worrying. I've got a few projects underway and still one modelling test to complete (a hard one) so I've got plenty to do and it's actually quite nice to have time to do some of these thigns, but although they might pay in the long run none of them are immediate sources of cash. I've decided that if I don't have more proper, paid computer work by the end of the week I'll have to get a job as a waiter or snow-shoveller or something similar. Could be worse... at least there's planty of work up here if I want it.

Handy Tips for Living at Mt Hotham #42
When you've had Weetbix for brekky, make sure you rinse your bowl out. If you let the little soggy bits of weetbix dry to the edge of the bowl, you're in trouble. I've heard they build bridges out of that stuff in some places.
