Time :: 4:30pm
Temperature :: -2 deg C
Nappies changed by me, ever :: still zero, HALLELUJAH!
Conditions :: snowing lightly all day today, terrific for boarding if you don't mind wiping your goggles off every few minutes.
We didn't get out today, even though it was Elicia's day off and therefore a rare (once-a-week kind of rare) snowboarding opportunity. The reason? I had work! Babysitting this morning again, that is. This time it was just me and the little tyke for four hours on our lonesome at the lodge, I tried not to feed him until 10:30 hoping that his bowels wouldn't have time to process anything between then and my designated leaving time - and once again I was blessed with a sweet-smelling baby all morning! It's been sort of fun, but I'm glad it's over. I think before I put my hand up for any more sitting jobs I'll ask how old the kids are, and gracefully decline if they are under four.
Of course, what would be even better is if I just got some proper work again. I mean what's going on? I trust God and he gives me babysitting. Hmph!
