Time :: 9:00am
Temperature :: -2 deg C
Conditions :: 27cm overnight! That's one of the biggest dumps we've had yet I think. It's still snowing, but the wind has died down for a while.

A couple of friends from home are up this weekend, deciding whether it's good enough to go skiing today after they drove up in full blizzard conditions last night. If the wind stays away it would be great, even if it keeps snowing it's the wind that's the killer.

Yesterday Leash and I went to Dinner Plain for lunch, it's about 15kms down the road in the opposite direction to Bright and everything else. It's very quaint, they have very strict building codes so all the houses and lodges match, with little pointy roofs and chimneys etc. Lots of photo opportunities, but our batteries ran out before we got there. But we did get some photos of us waiting for the bus in heavy snow, there's more in our gallery. My hair was frozen solid with snow (prematurely turning grey?), and it was even worse once we got on the bus and it began to melt and run down my neck.

Handy Tips for Living at Mt Hotham #46
Even if you're going on a rare date and find yourself worried that a beanie will wreck your hair, if it's snowing - WEAR A BEANIE. Especially if you're waiting for the bus for 1/2 hour.
