I know everyone will find this hard to believe, but I just had a (mostly) positive experience with Telstra!
We walked down to get the mail and I was a bit dismayed at the very large phone bill, then annoyed when I saw that we've been charged for data calls (the ISDN plan I'm on is meant to include free data calls) and I thought, here we go, Telstra getting me on the fine print again.
BUT once I got past the pathetic computer at the start and actually got a person, they were very polite and helpful, admitted it was a mistake, credited that part of the bill away and fixed it so it won't happen next time! I was blown away! It's the first time I have ever had a truly positive phone call to Telstra. The guy even had a British accent, not sure if that's got something to do with it or not...
And I just remembered, last week we got a phone bill for $0.00 - that was also a rare positive experience.
