A couple more observations on home: everything seems very big. This house seems huge, even though really it's quite a normal size. Elicia and I got quite excited by talking to each other from separate rooms. Everything also seems very warm, very green and the air is quite salty. It's nice to hear the surf at night again. It's nice to pat dogs. We went for a walk along the beach in Queenscliff and got excellent fish and chips, and even the seagulls seemed pretty. It's quite exciting to see friends and people I can relate to. It's good to sleep on a firm bed that's not so huge that we can't find each other, and to have the alarm go off in the morning and have to get up. Welcome routine.
And work has been going well, riding to and fro has nearly killed me each time - but I'm building up my leg muscles for snowboarding, just keep saying it over and it helps. A bit.
I hope everyone likes the new title. It might change again, I didn't really think it through before deciding...
