Oh well, Howard remains PM for a bit longer - and with a larger majority than before. A bit disappointing, but at least he's not a tyrannical dictator, I mean he doesn't go around ordering shootings and killing babies. Not within our own country, anyway...
I managed to get into a few barneys over the Family First party. I don't hate them but I think they're a bit like One Nation and many other redneck, fear-inducing parties - except they align themselves with conservative Christianity. God help us. And them. At my Dad's church someone got up and encouraged everyone to vote for them, I hope they gave equal time to the other political parties. (I know they didn't.) Anyway, it's all out of our hands now I guess.
