I rode home today in the rain. Yes, I had to work, although we took 3.5 minutes off to watch the cup. We collectively picked the winner but didn't put any money on it, so really the Melbourne Cup had very little impact on my life. The rain, however, did have an impact in as much as I had to ride home in some of it. A not entirely unpleasant experience though, I must say. Warmish.
I'm going to start blogging about something interesting soon.
As soon as my life gets more interesting.
