I'm up to the reformation in Jonothan Hill's "History of Christian Thought". One of Elicia's Aunties saw the book lying around yesterday at our Australia Day barbeque and thought it was a history of a man call Christian Thought. She wondered why she had never heard of him.

Anyway, we had a barbeque for Australia Day and invited our families around, it ended up a bit of a housewarming as well. We christened the new dartboard hooks on the fence outside, drank beer and ate lots of meat and salad followed by LOTS of dessert. A very enjoyable afternoon, and although we couldn't remember exactly what Australia Day commemorates we did what aussies do best and enjoyed ourselves regardless of our ignorance (we found out later it's not discovery or federation, it's the date of Phillip's first colonisational landing).

Then a massive storm flew past last night, we pulled the lounge chairs over to the window and watched as it swept slowly across to Pt Lonsdale and the bay. We get a good view from up here.
