We met Desdemona* last night. She was friendly, excited to move in, liked the pasta I cooked for tea, talked a lot and seems to have several common interests with us. Well, mainly with Leash and they involve Holdens and AFL. Being from the country she's even more serious about those two particular passions than Leash is. I just sighed and shook my head, and took comfort in the fact that she also plays guitar and likes eating vegetables - things that apparently makes her strange in her hometown but which will fit in beautifully with us.
She moves in weekend after next.
