I'm back. It's nice. I went down the beach today on my lunch break, then played darts over my afternoon cup of tea. Aaaah...
Yesterday I created a new lunch sensation - the Open Sushi. Similar to the Open Sandwich, only made with sushi ingredients instead of sandwich. I invented it as a by-product of making sushi and having not quite enough yaki nori.
Open Sushi:
Scrunch prepared sushi rice mix with yaki nori into a creative bed on a small plate.
Dap small amounts of wasabi randomly.
Lightly throw on a few bits of julienned carrots and cucumber.
Top with tuna.
Serve with soy sauce.
