Aargh! What are we going to do? We have people who want us to stay, and we have people who want us to go. There are very good reasons for both.
I've been reading Milan Kundera's 'Unbearable Lightness of Being' - a great book, by the way - in it he says that as we only get one chance at each decision, we can never know if it is the best one or not. We can never see how things work out if we choose the other path, so we have nothing to compare it to.
It rings true for us at the moment. But it's not really very helpful.
