Feeling good

I've a busy boy getting lots of work things sorted out before we go away tomorrow. It feels good to have most of it done. Lots of new things are coming up for us soon and it's going to be good to get away and think about things in a more relaxed way.

Things I'm doing next term (in order from scariest to safest):
Starting as a youth leader at our church.
Teaching two mornings a week at TAFE.
Doing a 'Perspectives' mission course to prepare for our trip to Indonesia at the end of the year (We are going on a mission trip in November - that's not this term, but preparation for it will be...)

I'm getting to the stage where I feel old enough to stop mucking about and just do the things I want to do with my life. In a practical way that means I sang quite a lot at a friend's karaoke party and danced quite a lot at my sister's deb, both fun events last weekend. With age comes liberation. I nother way it means I'm doing a lot better with my business - I play with the big boys and feel more comfortable with it (not toally comfortable, but more) It also ahs to do with being sure of my own abilities I guess.

Anyway, enough rambling for now, I'm sure I'll have heaps of time for introspection this week. Hopefully I'll fit some snowboarding in between all the heavy thinking. Expect photos when I get back!

BTW I'm going to get something for my WISE person when I'm at the snow. Snow is far more common where they are from though... wow, that clue really cuts it down doesn't it?
