What a holiday!

We had a great time away, not as much snowboarding as we would have liked but much relaxing took place. It was sunny for the first few days then snowed seriously for the weekend - we had 40cm in two days, oh so soft, very fun when we had to dig our car out and it was like shovelling sherbert, but it also meant the road home was shut.
Luckily, Hotham has a rear exit road (through Omeo) which was open, but it meant a NINE HOUR drive home instead of the usual 6.5! Beautiful countryside down that way though, open fields and paddocks blanketed with snow, sheep and cattle standing around wondering what the heck was going on.
Interestingly, sheep look quite grubby when standing knee-deep in pure white snow.
